Vajrasattva Empowerment & Dream Yoga Instruction

April 7th & 8th 2018
10am – 12pm & 2pm – 4pm
New York City

Rinpoche will be giving the ‘Wang’, or empowerment for Vajrasattva, which includes the text for the subsequent practice. This Vajrasattva practice is a Terma or ‘treasure’ teaching, discovered by the Terton Terdak Lingpa as preserved and passed through the Mindroling Dzoghcen lineage. In addition, Rinpoche will also be teaching on Dream Yoga (Lucid dreaming) one of the essential 6 Dharmas Of Naropa and a practice in which Rinpoche has demonstrated signs of accomplishment. This is a rare opportunity to receive the blessing and practice empowerment for this Terma of Vajrsattva, along with personal teaching and instructions in Dream Yoga, from a qualified Dzogchen master.

No previous instruction or study is required. Rinpoche will offer daily, guided meditation instruction

*Please note, the empowerment will be given once, during the Saturday morning session.

Venerable Younge Khachab Rinpoche VII
Younge Khachab Rinpoche, seventh in the Khachab line of reincarnations, is a direct descendent of the famed Terton, Younge Migyur Dorje and holds the family lineage for this cycle of termas (hidden ‘treasure teachings’). His family has been closely associated with the Karmapas since the 17th century. He is a highly accomplished non-sectarian master, having been educated at Ganden and Rumtek monasteries. He has studied widely with masters in the Kagyu, Gelug, Nyingma, Sakya and Bon schools, and received his Geshe degree from Ganden University and was appointed Khenpo of a Kagyu monastery in Nepal where he served for several years. Rinpoche's style of teaching is direct, warm, and engaging. He is accessible and takes personal interest in his students' progress. Rinpoche makes his home in the U.S.
