2015 Calendar of Uposatha Days
2558-2559 BE
Here are this year's dates of Uposatha days as observed in Thai Buddhism (Dhammayut and Mahānikai sects). This calendar follows the Dhammayut calculation—which, for the days marked with an asterisk, is one day later than the Mahānikai.

2015 Kalender der Uposatha-Tage
2558-2559 BE

Maybe someone likes to share it also in the Calender here.  --  --  Anumodana!  --  Virtual Dhamma - Vinaya Vihara

I wonder what Upasatha day will be celebrated for The Super Red Moon which is appearing tonight.  Seems like we should all take on two or three more precepts, at least.  I will shoot for "No high beds." , "No eating after 7:00 p.m.", and "Designing and building homes for homeless bats."  My wife gave me the last one! :curtain:
What Makes an Elder? :
A head of gray hairs doesn't mean one's an elder. Advanced in years, one's called an old fool.
But one in whom there is truth, restraint, rectitude, gentleness,self-control, he's called an elder, his impurities disgorged, enlightened.
-Dhammpada, 19, translated by Thanissaro Bhikkhu.
