The one contestant who was in tears will remember his compassion.   Such moments can be life-changing.

Anybody who is not, or who is well known world wide has a right to appear on any show.
The Dalai Lama too can appear on any decent show if he wants too.
The food is from different countries and vegetarian.
All he does is promoting eating less meat, a good thing to do.
The people present treat him with great respect, and imo he deserves that.
