I have a Facebook account too  http://www.facebook.com/thehappysnapper,  I rather enjoy Facebook as long as I don't allow it to take over, I don't have many Buddhist "friends" on Facebook though  :bigtears:

Excellent videos by the way  ;D

(Trailer) THRIVE: What On Earth Will It Take?

Edit out the references to extra-terrestrial technology, and I would be very interested. Is that a deal-breaker for anyone else?

Uh, the whole video is a deal-breaker from one end to the other for me. These people have admirable aims, but hey, they are also insane.

I found the video interesting and inspiring but yes, the alien tech part was a bit too much and it's very well produced so it seems like there is some serious money behind it. I would not be surprised if the Church of Scientology or someone similar is behind this. I went to their homepage and it contains no information about who they are except "® CLEAR COMPASS MEDIA LLC."

However I found this at another page:
Quote
Foster Gamble – Founder and President of Clear Compass Media, and life-long researcher into the fundamental patternings of nature, Foster is a comprehensivist - a researcher, trainer, entrepreneur, filmmaker and Aikidoist. He was CEO of MindCenter Corporation, and cofounder of the Sequoia Symposium, a multidisciplinary think tank exploring Unified Field Theory.

...so it can't be all that bad!  :cheesy:
My actions are my only true belongings.
I cannot escape the consequences of my actions.
My actions are the ground on which I stand.
