Wabi Sabi - a tone poem
« on: October 10, 2018, 07:27:50 am »
Container or Contained?

The container may change the shape,
But can it change the substance
Of what it contains?

The container may be broken,
The container may be flawed,
The container may be imperfect,
and this may change the shape,
but does this change the substance?

If the container is broken,
Flawed,
Or Imperfect,
Do we discard it,
Or do we  accept it
for what it is?

For if we discard the container,
the contained may be impossible to hold.

Can we not find beauty in that which is broken,
Or flawed,
Or imperfect?

Or find truth in it's repair?
