Christmas songs
My actions are my only true belongings.
I cannot escape the consequences of my actions.
My actions are the ground on which I stand.

I hear the distant churn of a laundry machine over the hum of my laptop.

My left ear is receiving the regular rythmic slurshing refrains of our dishwasher, whilst my right ear is barely on the threshold of discerning the repartee' of CNBC's Financial Talking Heads discussing The House Financial Committee hearings.  Oddly enough the dishwasher rythm and slushing and the lyrical voices of the talking heads seem to be in synchronicity.

"Its music I tell ya!"  "It's music!"

(Time for my walk before my jazz saxaphone student shows up.)
