I was raised in a family where music was part of the daily life. My grandmother played stride piano; so I heard Big Band music, Rag Time, and classical every day. It was a joy to be privileged to that in my childhood. My grandmother was a phenomenal piano player; as good as any professional; and better than some. She never took a lesson; and couldn't understand why everyone could not play. She played for 85 years. I remember the Lester Cabinet Grand in her living room, like it was yesterday. Glass front, and a lever to change ( I guess ) the octaves. I would suggest you do a search on Aaron Robinson - rag time piano; and you will hear  what I heard when my grandmother played.

Sometimes at night I like to listen to Chinese flute music.
I really like Chen Yue. Listening right now.
