Is it worth it to pay $19.95 a year for Yahoo!'s paid service?
I would like to forward my yahoo mails to gmail without irritating my email friends with another change in address.

Googlemail is free, but has a silly bit of software thaat picks up words from your emails and sends ads related to them - not so much an intrusion of privacy, more a nuisance. But it has never let me down (Yahoo did, and often.)
You also have the bonus of Google Documents whiuch means you can create and store documents, etc. on the web without needing Office on your PC. ;)

Googlemail is free, but has a silly bit of software thaat picks up words from your emails and sends ads related to them - not so much an intrusion of privacy, more a nuisance. But it has never let me down (Yahoo did, and often.) You can copy all your contacts from yahoo to Googlemail easily.

Have you heard of gmx mail?  I just found that.  But I'm having trouble accessing the mailbox after I signed in.  Supposedly though you can forward all your pops there?

Thanks all!  I'm going to make a switch to gmail.  It's neat!  I love their browser too, but have you noticed that a lot of sites won't accept google chrome?

Googles system's cookies do not expire, also if you watch c-span, google is going to ally itself with Federal govt to form a Global Internet commission. Basically they know everything about you.
