Title: FreeSangha rules
Post by: Wonky Badger on November 24, 2009, 05:00:51 am
Our current rules are quite sketchy, but we'll improve them in time as challenges arise. Please make suggestions!

1. No spamming
Posting posts, topics or PMs that are repetive and/or commercial (viagra, get-rich-quick, etc.) will lead to banning.
New users spreading spam will be deleted without warning.

2. No trolling
According to Wikipedia:
In Internet slang, a troll is someone who posts controversial, inflammatory, extraneous, or off-topic messages in an online community, such as an online discussion forum, chat room or blog, with the primary intent of provoking other users into an emotional response or of otherwise disrupting normal on-topic discussion.

Members who repeatedly attempt to disrupt the sangha will be considered for ban by the entire staff.  The procedure will follow this sequence:

A. First Warning.
Coach:  Let the individual know that there is an ongoing problem which he/she needs to address.
B. Second Warning.
Written Warning:  Sent the individual a personal message documenting the infractions as related to the TOS.
C. Third Warning
Suspension of posting privileges for thirty days.
D. Final Action
Termination of all rights and priveleges.

3. No personal attacks
Try to be nice!

4. Only one account per person
To make moderation easier and your forum experience more enjoyable, we ask that you only have one account at a time. If you want to change your username there are three solutions:
1. Change your display name in your profile settings. Your username will be the same, but the name seen is different.
2. Ask an admin to change your username
3. Delete your current account and create a new one.

These are the rules as of now, but they might change at any time. In that case an update will be posted.
