Eating mindfully

I've had issues with food for quite a while now- I think it may be a hangover from childhood where nice food was given as treats/rewards and so this may have lead me to snack far too much. It feels like if I am not snacking I soon find an excuse to go and get something to eat.

Does anyone have any advice for how they can get their food cravings under control?
