The closest I can get is that Buddhism isn't any 'thing'. It's the idea that whatever you think it may be, it isn't that. When you let go of every 'thing' it might be, even 'no thing' then you have a fair chance of understanding. It's the Heart Sutra stripped down to bare essentials.
