Cultivation and the Ordinary
« on: December 05, 2009, 09:14:25 am »

The 13th Patriarch of Chinese Pure Land Tradition, the late Venerable Master Yin Guang (1861-1941, AD), made this observation:
Cultivation is no different from
wearing cotton garments in the summer
and heavy padded clothing in winter,
we cannot go against the times,
capacities and conditions of sentient beings.

How is this observation made manifest in your life?
