Fascinating new podcast on Buddhism just found
« on: May 29, 2017, 12:01:17 am »
I've just come across a new Buddhism Podcast with an interesting title. It's called Imperfect Buddha. I was a bit confused by the name at first but it seems to be humanising Buddhist practice, be generally secular in approach and has interviews which take that line. Has anyone else heard of it? If so, what do you think? I just listened to the latest episode which is an interview with one of the guys very loosely involved with Buddhist Geeks, which I think is no more.

Here's the link to the soundcloud page for it:

Hi, Brian.  Thanks for the resource.

Will check it out as I have more time available.

What Makes an Elder? :
A head of gray hairs doesn't mean one's an elder. Advanced in years, one's called an old fool.
But one in whom there is truth, restraint, rectitude, gentleness,self-control, he's called an elder, his impurities disgorged, enlightened.
-Dhammpada, 19, translated by Thanissaro Bhikkhu.
