Maitreya Buddha
« on: February 05, 2018, 08:13:19 am »
:anjali:  Peek at San Jose, see if there's a "Maitreya Buddha" still living there?  I don't have a People Finder, this being a group computer and all, and old machines and all that.

Anyway .... <---- Like Ellen might say.

On the matter of Maitreya, it Fascinates me.  It's a timely topic, and to bring it up seems not a moment too soon.  It seems like we should jump and dive.

A great working title might be "Maitreya and the Forty Thieves"!  O Tempo. O Mores, did I get that right?

It seems like these days it's cool to be crime.

Comments?  Advice?  We must go to the people and the folks and tell them, it's not okay to kill and steal and lie and fling falsehoods, and how about cheat, it's not fair to cheat.  Things like that.  It's something to do with our time.  And yet ... we do play with those ideas in role playing games, and we laugh and have fun.  What about Dungeons and Dragons?  What are we teaching people this way?

Do people get it out of their systems when they play, for instance, Puzzle Pirates, and they out-drink their fellows, swash-buckle down boatloads of skellies, but they don't just fight skeletons but people too?  Well it's all in good fun.  Yes and it is, and it's good to fight with paint guns, and my sentence might run amok if I don't pause a while.

Be Prepared, Scout's Motto.  Won't actually kill unless I have to, Scout's Honor.  Won't, shan't.

Ah a wisp of sigh.  It's okay, hot magma spouter, I talk to myself.  It's going to be alright.

I would like to try it once. I really want to know where it is.
