Great idea! Damm, I have no i-pone so I would lose all bindings and what if I would have a problem or others? Maybe it's also not the best weather now on some places on northern earth. *smile*

But we could observe the forest cutting on goolge earth, there are also good documentaries about nature , wildlife and the circle of live on web.

What are you waiting for?
Get up!
Sit up!
What's your need for sleep?
And what sleep is there for the afflicted,
pierced by the arrow (craving), oppressed?

Get up!
Sit up! T
rain firmly for the sake of peace,
Don't let the king of death,
— seeing you heedless —
deceive you,
bring you under his sway.

My favourite places to practice are by the sea and on hill-tops, I think it's the sense of open space and perspective.  Though by "practice" I suppose I really mean just sitting and taking it in. :wink1:

The Cloak of Dewachen practice is a pure land  visualization.
It involves walking (usually in countryside through woods) at a normal pace
and engaging the principle of:
  Good in the beginning
  Good in the middle
  Good in the end
and finding the good in where one is facing
relating it to the good in ones arisings
and imagining (visualizing) a 'cloak of transformation' beautifying the
ground you have covered

"Taking it in" or do the senses mirror the "in" if there is open space and perspective? Alleged "mind" and alleged "outer environment" seem to merge when there are no conditions for the eyes singling out imputedly distinct objects. :om:

I guess there is a reason why cemeteries and jungles are not so favorite places for practice. *smile* We would meet up with our self and fear that something would touch it, while it as really big space in the great white open, and we can give the self beautiful frame, mine is the universe.

...under the sky so blue
out in the great wide open
a rebel without a glue...

It's good to enjoy and I guess it gives us sometimes an idea of what could be real bliss. *smile* Even its only a compensation, I guess there are less better moments as being some times far away from what seems to be so reality. Travel and do not rest, without planing much its the best.

It is just a different kind of practice. cemeteries are intended to meditate on corpses which is difficult in western countries, but there are good videos.
There are no jungles in many regions.

Yes *smile* that is why we are maybe in this realm. And Tim Berners-Lee made it real. So we could call it a kind of outdoor practice. *smile*

So having no i-pone one better stays at home.

Excellent! Excellent! Excellent! *smile*

Is a pager or a normal handy ok? You know, we could get lost, or break the foot, or something important could happen in the office, maybe the girlfriend gets nervous... all that stuff. You know, its different today. We have responsibilities, not like some 20 years ago.
