Hi purelander,

It is said human beings have precious body to cultivate the dharma, and to reach enlightenment. I wonder whether beings in other realms be able to recite amitabha, to enable them to go to pureland. or for the same matter any other mantras, etc

I would certainly think so friend  ;D
There are many other Dharma purelands of Buddha's available as well, Fortunatly we have a very special connection with Lord Amitabha and his vows make it very easy for us to be reborn in fortunate states  :D

I found a simple discussion of the 6 realms on about.com http://bit.ly/S8Ax72 . The question might be one of are beings of the other realms motivated to hear teachings and recite Nembutsu. I've been to teachings where the benefit of beings in the animal realm hearing the dharma was discussed. On occasion I leave chanting on my radio so my cat can here it and hopefully gain some benefit. At a Tibetan center we left torma outside for the hungry ghosts and animals.

Most don't have the time.

The gods are enjoying themselves too much,
demigods are fighting for power,
the animals are constantly looking out for danger.
and the Hell beings, well that's impossible,
unless Kshitigarhba Bodhisattva intervenes.

Humans are the best Category.
