I hope it is okay to post in this older thread ... my arggghhhh for the day is directed at an older woman who was extremely rude to me on public transit. I felt really horrible afterwards. Arrrghhh. Then when I got home, I found this forum and felt a bit better.  :namaste:

My daily "Arrrrgh" resulted from a realization of how much time was being wasted trying to accommodate my wife's desire to make Window's 10 work properly on her computer.  It was one glitch after another over a period of several weeks and finally today I had enough, got rid of our separate desktops and downloaded Google Chrome, which is now loaded on both of our computers.  Life has since been grand!  Digital Nibbana.

Seems like I have become the most prolific contributor to this thread!   :-P  :

This morning started with another "walk the dog" episode.  Since my wife wants to walk with us in the morning, but she is very slow on he "get up and go" due to many household and physical distractions for her to which she perseveres, we had set up a system whereby our dog and I go for a walk down and up hills early, which my wife cannot negotiate due to her physical limitations, and she calls me when she is ready and standing in front of our home.  The dog and I then walk to pick her up and then take a much flatter route.

This morning, however, my wife could not find one of her cats (his name is Morgan) and asked me to wait while she searched for him.  Predictably the dog got overly anxious and started to misbehave on the leash , because she was impatient.  So, I scolded her.  The dog misbehaved again, so I corrected her with a glove smack on the nose, causing her to yelp.  This happened again as she was yanking on the leash and nearly tripped me by cutting in front of me.  So, I told my wife that she needs to get moving if she wants to come with us.  She got angry and went off in a huff telling me that she was not coming, as though it was a punishment.

She then goes upstairs, sits down on the computer and due to a failure of the Windows 10 software, signs on to her account, which I had deleted, causing the computer to freeze-up again, because the Windows 10 software is so screwed-up.  I tried a quick fix, but in frustration shut it down and took the dog for our morning walk.

Along the walk (about half way) the dog becomes distracted by  two dogs coming from two different directions she sees and starts acting up again, cutting in front of me and almost tripping me.  The way I correct her is to put the tip of my foot onto her rump and push her back to the left where she is (apparently poorly) trained to walk.

Just then:   An elderly woman behind me starts yelling and railing against me , saying that she is going to report me for animal abuse for kicking my dog.  I (wrongly) reply in a loud voice to the effect that I am going to report her for not minding her own damned business, and that if I had kicked the dog the dog would be lying on the ground....and then went on my way, now frothing mentally at all of womanhood for their intolerance of "man"-kind.

The dog is now quietly sitting on her wooden perch overseeing our back yard.  My wife is finishing her morning nap.  I am venting by writing this diatribe.  Peace and mental balance, if not equanimity slowly return.   :-P

The deity that vanquishes Asuras is compassion, if Jesus was a buddhist monk, hypothetically, he would probably have gone willingly to crucify himself so that the Asuras can wipe out each-other until his Deva is reborn again. Imagine an Arhat been judged to execution by getting shot by arrows, the majority of them missed, and he would simply ask "A little more to the left perhaps?"

That is transcendental wisdom.

Pacified reasoning is more radiant in equanimity as debate and fixating on ideas is the weapon of the Asuras. Gathering ideas can also be hungry ghost realm, to which I use my meditative generation of Ratnasambhava to provide equanimity and equality.

My arrgh of the day is that I can't train because of the flu   To me, training is the way to keep forward and move forward, to become one with my mind and body.

Post removed due to being a product of intoxication.

This is the last one, I promise. I'm so sorry for filling up the forum with these posts.

I've actually started working on an idea on how to change this behavior. It's simple and that's what's going to make it work.

I'm going to start writing down thoughts on my computer and organize them in different folders in different documents with different names. I'm going to create a primary "Thought's" folder and just add things and revise documents, all aligned with my needs, ideas and self made projects. Then I'm going to go there, every time I feel the need to express something, and this is going to act like a buffer, a filter where I start typing things i think I want to express to people. Eventually, they're going to be fully constructed, eloquent and finished works without any distractions such as stress of the moment, impulses that have consequences like this one, creating anxiety.

It will be a cave of my own creation, anything that I want to assign, assert, express, evaluate, experiment with, ponder, making poetry, making wild assumptions that no one will judge and have a little "Me-encyclopedia", where I will see what is going on inside my head over a period of time. This idea is bulletproof. I can even put dates on my folders so that I recognize patterns. It's an instruction manual for my own stream-entry!

This is certainly going to refine my behavior. Wish me luck people, I'm going to build a cave! Hope it doesn't cave in or get haunted.

I am serving a dana meal to the monks tomorrow. Because it is a two hour drive, I cook the food the night before, and heat it up when I get to the hermitage. I made vegetarian tacos. I put some frozen falafel balls into the microwave to defrost them. When I opened the microwave door a couple of minutes later... The plastic container had melted, and the falafel balls had become rock hard.

It's from The Daily Arrrrghhhh !  As in

I have been on a vacation for awhile, I wish I had caught this, I would have offered to help. I am very proficient with computers and build them as a hobby :). If you are still having techinical difficulties please, send me a pm and I will try and help address the issue for you!
