 Seems to me that definitions are in order. Before we can think clearly about this we need to define mind, self, awareness and consciousness. I have already seen, in this thread, instances of the term "mind" being use to describe both sense appearances and that which perceives - two totally different things. Then the term "self" was introduced without specifying what it referred to in any way, whether is it the same as mind, if so in which sense, and so on.


No wonder people get confused. Just intuitively slapping down terms on paper - won't do.
