As everyone knows, a lot of moderators have come and go in the past week. Some want to just get their feet wet, and then leave, while some feel the need to spend more time devoted to their practice. Because of this issue we have almost a dozen unmoderated sections on the board that need good moderators. Sections open are:

News/Announcements board

1/2 of the Topics in Buddhism Board

3/4 of the Lifestyle board

The Academy Board

The Danger Zone

If you are interested, feel free to navigate through these sections and see what you'd like to moderate. The Danger Zone is a pretty dangerous place for BuddhaDharma so the mod selected for that will need a little patience and tolerance and must be uneffected by gossip and words of a slanderous nature, so that they can keep their cool when moderation is needed.

I look forward to hearing from some of the great members we have here at Freesangha.  Anjali

Hi Matt,
Don't know if I know enough dhamma for the position, but what's involved, and how much time per day etc. I'm interested in helping if I can.

"Without inner peace, outer peace is impossible. We all wish for world peace, but world peace will never be acheived unless we first establish peace within our own minds. We can send so-called 'peacekeeping forces' into areas of conflict, but peace cannot be oppossed from the outside with guns. Only by creating peace within our own mind and helping others to do the same can we hope to achieve peace in this world."
