Greetings
« on: August 02, 2019, 05:44:26 am »
Greetings everyone just thought i'd say hello and introduce myself to the forum.

Recently come back to Buddhism from a long absence, was a practicing Buddhist in my early 20's, 2 decades ago. Have flirted with the Dharma a couple of times over the years but never dipped fully back into it, Buddhist philosophy has always had some hold over me however. Recently have become a Drug and Alcohol recovery worker and began to get an interest in mindfulness techniques and practice and this has led me back to my Buddhist roots, so here I am again.

I'm hoping to learn and develop a better way of thinking and being, to become less materialistic and try to use it to help others along the way. Feel like I have picked up many bad habits over the years and drifted quite far from my outlook in my early 20's, so would be nice to explore that here and to address in the 'real world'.

Thanks for having me  :namaste:

Some say Buddhism is a Religion.
Others say Buddhism is a Style.
I say it's a Stylish Religion.
