Greetings From Western US
« on: April 24, 2017, 06:51:02 pm »

I have considered myself a Buddhist for a long while, though have (unfortunately) never had access to community or a place to learn in person. I find myself burdened and have come seeking a positive and nourishing environment.

Best wishes  <3

Welcome, guest27.  Feel free to ask questions regarding any topic you wish.  My suggestion would be for you to explore as many forums as you desire, and post your questions there as you want.   :namaste:
What Makes an Elder? :
A head of gray hairs doesn't mean one's an elder. Advanced in years, one's called an old fool.
But one in whom there is truth, restraint, rectitude, gentleness,self-control, he's called an elder, his impurities disgorged, enlightened.
-Dhammpada, 19, translated by Thanissaro Bhikkhu.
