Hello beautiful people
« on: January 27, 2016, 11:42:18 am »
Hello!

My name is Joan from Barcelona, currently living in London.

I got interested on meditation and buddhism about 2 years ago, and I have been on and off meditation and yoga practice.  Since I moved to London (about a month ago), I have been meditating daily incrementing the time that I meditate (I am currently at 10 minutes morning and 10 minutes at night). I found it pretty hard for my back, so step by step I am incrementing the time. I also enjoy watching videos (specially from Ajahn Jayasaro Bhikkhu) on buddhism and meditation techniques.

I am really happy that I am incrementally learning more and more about who we are, and how do we perceive things.

Thanks

Welcome.  As soon as find out who we are, please let us know.
What Makes an Elder? :
A head of gray hairs doesn't mean one's an elder. Advanced in years, one's called an old fool.
But one in whom there is truth, restraint, rectitude, gentleness,self-control, he's called an elder, his impurities disgorged, enlightened.
-Dhammpada, 19, translated by Thanissaro Bhikkhu.
