Hello from Derbyshire, UK
« on: August 31, 2016, 06:27:53 am »
Hello everyone,

My name is Josh and I am new to this website.
I am new to Buddhism, however I believe the principles taught in Buddhism are something which we should all adhere to in moderation. I hope to learn more about Buddhism during my membership here and being involved in many topics.

Hi Josh
Good to have you here. Always interesting to hear new ideas. Which bits of Buddhism do you think are a bit extreme, so we need to moderate them? I ask because I'm interested in how to develop Buddhism here in the West.
“You do not need to leave your room. Remain sitting at your table and listen. Do not even listen, simply wait, be quiet, still and solitary. The world will freely offer itself to you to be unmasked, it has no choice, it will roll in ecstasy at your feet.” Franz Kafka
