Hi from Joe
« on: May 30, 2016, 01:56:59 am »
Hello everyone,

I'm Joe from Ireland. I have read a lot about Buddhism over the past 2 years, but still have so much to see.
Quite often, as I read more, I find what I thought I understood was entirely wrong! But that is all part of learning, and anyway, much of Buddhism you have to see or experience, rather that understand.

I am hoping some of you here will guide me on my path.  I struggle with the practical implementation of Buddhism in everyday life....which makes sense because "everyday life" is based on a permanent self, whereas I understand that there is no such thing.  Still, to make a living, I have to interact with people who expect permanence.

Anyway I look forward to reading what others have experienced and I will post a few questions where I am feeling lost.
