Hello! I'm new here  I'm Sergio, from Spain. I live in a little (so-so) city up north, A Coruña. I started looking at buddhism a while ago, but I think I'm ready to take some more steps and take practice into my life and commit to it. It seems like the right time to do so. I'm specially attracted to the Tibetan branches: structured path, ethics, study, rules... Right now I feel more comfortable with that approach (at least that's my prior and external view of it). Anyway, I may have to dig further, but in my home city there are a couple of Tibetan Buddhist communities, and to them I will turn to. They're Gelug both, under FPMT I think.
Well, here I am, ready to learn and practice, let's go!

Sergio

Hello everyone, greetings from Germany.
I "discovered" Buddhism only a short time ago, but it feels like I've finally found a home for my thoughts... if that makes any sense :)
Every day you make someone smile is a good day.

Welcome to the boards, yoglok!  :hi:
My actions are my only true belongings.
I cannot escape the consequences of my actions.
My actions are the ground on which I stand.

Hi, my name is Carrie.  I've been practicing Buddhism since 2004.  I haven't found the right sangha in the town where I live, so I'm kind of a sole practitioner.  I'm very interested in connecting with Buddhists from various streams of Buddhist practice and learning from them.  I am a member of the "Twangha" on Twitter and from time to time post to my blog (dharmasattva8.blogspot.com).  I'm here to learn and look forward to learning from all of you.
