Well met.

I am not, at this time, a Buhhdist.
I am not also..of any religious affiliation.

I do believe a designer exists. But, aside from making the laws of reality and having them unfold.
What is a designer.

Im over 50 and very well read.. . A historian and logician.. But also willing to allow any phenomena.
I consider Buddism, the small amount i understand.. To be about ones place in a reality of titanic size and complexity.
Almost transition from animal to truly sentient beings.

Rule one.. I may be totally incorrect.
I come here to understand others views and beliefs/arguements.

For 'science and formal religion'  claim they have answers.. But Science has no idea what gravity IS. or time or space.
And formal religion is but stories. Much like house a pooh corner.

Fact and knowledge is fine.. Understanding is illusive

What worries me is that there seem to be schools of Buddhism.

Much like catholicism.
That Buddhism is schismatic.  So that understanding depends not on what is.. but interpretation.

Maybe its better i rely on none for answers.

Hi,

if you search for the answers like you have told, you are totally wrong here. Its just about suffering and getting rid of it, nothing more. There are planty of billions busy with those questions below, so you might find for sure unsatisfactory on other places. *smile*

There may still be hope for you  :namaste:

I for one would like to join your school of no one . . .

One of the 3 jewels of Buddhism is the Sangha
the community of Buddhists
(sadly most monks are examples of uniform and uninformed thinking
- a man in a Sari is not holy . . . believe it or not . . .)
So feel free to share some of your informed opinions:
. . . for example . . .

Really? What are the alternatives? http://tmxxine.tumblr.com/

Buddhist Cosmology is as whacky as a fruit cake.
