« on: August 11, 2017, 05:09:15 pm »
Probably know me from Dharma Wheel, Dao Bums, and some other places.

Account here finally got approved and really looking forward to being part of the community and sharing with all of you guys.

Have some background in Theravada (Thai Forest in particular Ajahn Chah).

And deep and intensive Zazen with Gyobutsuji Zen Monastery which is the American version of the famous Antai-ji  :fu:

Has Nyom ever met a Ajahn Chah in person or being confronted? How ever, he/she might like

Quote
Luang Por Guṇha Sukhakāmo

Luang Por Guṇha is actually a nephew of the great Ajahn Chah, although he has long since established himself as a great Ajahn and teacher in his own right. As a young monk he was known as an austere tudong monk with an unrelenting determination and fearless commitment to sacrifice for the sake of his practise. Nowadays, he is highly revered for the power of his meditation, particularly his mettā, and for the simple 'straight talk' of his teaching style. He currently lives in Nakhorn Ratchasima province, Thailand.

Manasikāradhamma

- translated from the Thai by Sāmaṇerī Viveka

Manasikāradhamma 2016

Manasikāradhamma - Dhamma for Reflection (2016)    (52pp. 5.5MB)
A second volume of recent quotes from Luang Por Guṇha, published in October 2016, once again capturing the powerful simplicity of his style of teaching and practise.

I reckon Ajahn Chah was really a Zennie.   :wink1:  He used to refer to "original mind".

Do not try to become anything. Do not make yourself into anything. Do not be a meditator. Do not become enlightened. When you sit, let it be. What you walk, let it be. Grasp at nothing. Resist nothing.
