Warning:
This practice is intended only for those who have received the paw, hairball and hiss from a qualified Tabby.
I also pledge that I do not practice Diamond Chihuahua nor have ever joined any organization that practices it

I saw a post on another forum about a Tabby in California (where else?) actually teaches the Diamond Chihuahua.  Just when you think you've heard it all...

The Ceiling Cat Heart Mantra
Om Nom Nom Nom Ah Hiss

I loved the "Hiss" at the end, it really resonates.... :teehee:

A list cannot replace one single mantra but one single mantra may dissolve the lust for a list.  :fu:

We tend to ridicule that which we do not believe or understand.

Dearest Dhamma Friend,

Out of respect for your comment, I have deleted my post from this thread and moved it to The White Board for Comment.

With sincere apologies to my good friend, Heybai.

After reading the White Board posting, as well as going over the content of this thread, if one were to call out Ron's post as ridicule, then why not also T's Ceiling Cat Prayer?

Buddhists believe that there are powerful mantras, that the chanting, writing and/or wearing of them not only calms the mind, but also serves as a tool to focus the mind, so even the song below would be no more or less a mantra than anything used by a Buddhist:

Zip-A-Dee-Doo-Dah Zip-A-Dee-Ay
My oh my what a wonderful day
Plenty of sunshine headed my way
Zip-A-Dee-Doo-Dah Zip-A-Dee-Ay

Let's have a show of hands... How many of you remember the warm calm and peaceful feeling that the above song brought about as a child?

Truth be told, I actually remember it quite well  :teehee:
