Title: Best type of Meditation hat?
Post by: Lobster on July 26, 2017, 11:10:35 pm
I think I have my cushion end sorted.

What is best as a head covering?  :fu:

I notice some zeniths wear baskets or aprons on their heads. Some strange hats and tiaras in Tantric head gear ...

Also some seem to shave and polish heads. Not sure what the Buddha's hair style is about. Some sort of Greek beehive or ornate blue tea cosy ...

At the moment I sometimes use a blanket. Especially in winter.

I might like one of those pointy Manjushri types seen in some iconography.

The other cool one is the basket head thing with the flute combo sometimes.

Some nice interesting Japanese styles.
