Hi there,

Has anyone any techniques for teaching meditation to children?

Or book recommendations?

Metta,

Buddhanet has a section in their library, Buddhist Studies for Primary and Secondary Students (grade school and high school). There is some information about teaching kids meditation.

The UN's Culture of Peace and Non-Violence intiatives have borrowed a page from Thich Naht Hahn and endorsed the mindfulness teachings in general, so any book by him might also be useful and easily adaptable for use with children.
