Cookies

I cleared my cookies a while ago, and now I am on a 60 minute limit before I get disconnected. This has caused the loss of a couple of posts. I have tried telling the system to leave me logged in but it seems to ignore that. It looks like the system is not correctly re-establishing the necessary cookies. I'm getting a lot of chat disconnects too.

So just for clarification... Do you check the "Always stay logged in:" checkbox on the login screen when logging in? Or do you use the browser's "Remember me" option or similar? I'll look further into the issue. 60 minutes is the default, so it would indicate that either the default value has been accepted at login or your computer won't allow a new cookie to be stored on it.

I check the "Always stay logged in" box. Come to think of it, I believe it worked for a few days once then stopped again. At any rate I have checked that box a half dozen times or so.

This same thing happened to me. I changed my password, and everything went funky. After much futzing with it, I fixed the problem by:

deleting the old cookies
emptying the cache
deleting the password from my keychain (I'm on a MAC)
logging in with the correct password at all places: Portal, Forum...
