Kalachakra banned
« on: December 02, 2009, 02:32:43 pm »
I banned Kalachakra for trolling and multiple accounts. If anybody feels that this was unfair, please let us know.

I cannot escape the consequences of my actions.
My actions are the ground on which I stand.

FYI. This is his website

http://kalachakra.tripod.com/index.html

Wow. He's on there talking about how he's an "initiated Vajra master," which if it were true would mean he was authorized to become a guru and take on disciples and give empowerments, etc. However, he's either unaware or exploiting other people's unawareness of the fact that any Joe or Josephina that receives either a Yoga tantra or Unexcelled Yoga tantra empowerment receives, as part of it, an initiation called the "Vajra master" initiation and this does not mean you have become a Vajra master on the spot. One has just received the ripening empowerment that plants the seed for this role in the future when one's lama has determined that one is ready to take it on. I wonder if he really thinks that, on the strength of that and having received different empowerments that he now "carries those lineages" as he claims. Wow.

Nut case cultist. I only point this out because he has uninterupted reign to be as nutty as he wants to at BC.

Hi Pema,

Sounds like a gross misunderstanding.  Too bad, I hope someone was able to clarify for him.  I didn't see the threads.

Kindly,
Laura

 :-O

HE IS NOT A VAJRA MASTER!?!?!?!

Maybe :^o  you've just lost all faith in the way of BC and the troll who lives there!

[-X~ Shame on your for questioning the almighty  :atroll:

Seriously though...  /:)

When I visit that site I feel :beat: by how aggressively people respond... One's all :hand: to the other, then it's back to  :arrgh: then others are all :ack2: and a few find it funny :teehee: others like some of his identity theft targets are all :headwall: mmm... how many emotions can I convey with smileys as to what reaction that guy elicits at the site... and then you get an esangha mod screaming back and calling the troll female body parts (as an insult... thanks, makes us women feel great that our genitalia winds up being a weapon to insult and offend others).  :argue:  The whole thing is vaguely disheartening...  :sigh:  the drama is quite unnecessary and just makes people more  ~X( with the online Buddhist community.

Personally, I've been grateful for this site from the day it became live...

0gyen Chodzom, I feel the same way as you are. That is the reason why I left BC and came here.

edit: I can't believe that any genuine Buddhist tradition is capable of cultivating such behavoir (of using insulting words) which is totally the opposite of right speech. That shows how far the person has deviated from Buddha's teaching.

Yes, SO happy that Kala Chakra is banned!
Poor guy, I can't believe for one split second that he is what he says he is.
In my opinion his website has a strange look about it, is utterly un-tibetan.
Hope I will not mention him again here, only in private prayer!

And yes, if someone knows the buddhist equivalent for Hallelujah
please tell us!

Yes, compassion can only be taken so far, and then the rest of the membership suffers.
He has brought it on himself, I am glad to see he cannot do to this site what he's done to BC.
You only have to look at the numbers. Today I was the only one logged on there !
And the bad impression which would be new Buddhist must get from seeing his postings.
I hate to say it but good riddance. You've made the right decision.

I can't help but wonder why he would mention all these "empowerments" (my term, not his) without mentioning specifically from whom he recieved them.

I also find his mentioning updating his site because of attacks by Theravadins.  Seems like a Boogie-Man.  I've read a lot of crap on BC about Theravadins doing malicious stuff, but it doesn't ring true to me.
