The lead heading on the portal page reads

"The domain for discussing Buddhism in general and specific tennents, philosophies and sects relating to. Freesangha does not endorse sectarian behavior and you will do well to remember right speech, intention and action when participating in member discussions. "

It's a lousy intro: it spells "tenets" wrong and the grammar is awful. Also the phrase "you would do well to", in standard use, implies dire consequences if the recommendations are not followed. It's a threat.

I recommend the following revised version.

"FreeSangha is a forum for discussing Buddhism and Buddhist-related philosophy. Freesangha does not encourage sectarian behavior. Please remember right speech, intention and action when participating in member discussions. "

I've seen 'tenennts' quite often on forums. It's not bad beer. ;)

It's not quite as bad as writing 'less' instead of 'fewer', and 'a fine tooth-comb' instead of 'a fine-toothed comb'.   Do people really think teeth need combing? LOL

A former classmate of mine has three children, now in their twenties, but all teenagers when I knew the family.  One day I sent her a message saying I hope she and her fifteen year-olds had had a good time over the weekend. 

She wrote back and told me they had, but that triplets were all she could handle, thank you.
