Arya Tara
« on: November 05, 2014, 09:39:55 am »
I'm getting ready to head to CA this weekend for an Arya Tara teaching and empowerment.  Really looking forward to it!  For about a week now I have doing the "Liberation from Sorrow" sadhana and chanting Tara's mantra.  I feel like it's benefited me quite a bit - more inner peace, more mindfulness, more awareness of my self-grasping and deluded minds so I can quickly apply antidotes.

Homage to Tara, the Swift One, the Heroine,
Whose eyes are like a flash of lightning,
Who arose from the opening of a lotus,
Born from the tears of the Protector of the Three Worlds.

If you end up with some free time before or after the event, please feel free to show up on my door step --- the program I run is located in downtown Los Angeles, a few blocks from Little Tokyo.

Thanks everyone.  Yes, the event was quite wonderful.  The folks at the Kadampa center in Hollywood are very friendly, and the event was led by Gen Kelsang Rigpa who is a great teacher.

Thanks for the invitation, Dharmakara - schedule was tight this time around, but on my next visit to the LA area I may take you up on that.  Thanks for your support; it is much appreciated.

Peace and long life to you all!
