Amitayus Long-life Pills
« on: February 18, 2013, 12:26:51 pm »
Should you receive somebody's permission before giving them an Amitayus Long-life pill, or would it be acceptable to decorate a serving of cake or pudding with one and let them think it is just decoration?  I'm uneasy about not getting consent, but would like the people I have in mind to have a pill. Trouble is they are my in-laws, both who are Christians and would probably not take the pills if they were asked.

Any advice would be appreciated.  I suspect my gut feeling that this is wrong is correct.  I did not think much about giving a pill to each of my cats (had to hide in cat treats!).

I know you're just trying to help BUT what if in the rare instance they get a severe allergic reaction to them or get some side effects from it?

People can be allergic to anything as everyone is an individual.  For example, most people can eat strawberries, but if one particular person is allergic to strawberries, you shouldn't be giving them that.  Other people are allergic to certain medicines.  And usually, you would have no idea what a person is allergic to.

Not sure what's in these pills but if say a person from another religion hides pills in your food - I don't think you'd be happy either as you don't know what's in them.

In general, if you're not a doctor, don't be giving pills out - just in case people get an allergic reaction or side effects.

Hi, thanks for the feedback on this.  It's very helpful to have a second opinion.  I am more confident in my own judgement of the situation now.  :namaste:
