FreeSangha is open!
« on: November 19, 2009, 06:25:10 am »
Come one, come all!
I got tired waiting for e-sangha to come back up, so I created a new forum. I blatantly copied most of the subforums from e-sangha, since that gives a more comfortable feel to old e-sangha members. Please use the suggestion box to let me know of any subforums you'd like.

FreeSangha is supposed to be what it's called: FREE. For now the general rule is that no-one (and I mean no-one!) will be banned without clear evidence of spamming or repetive trolling. If this freedom is abused, this freedom of yours might be revoked, so use it wisely.

Hopefully we can all help building this forum and it's guidelines in a friendly, cooperative and mature manner!

Again; welcome!
PS. Spread the word!

I cannot escape the consequences of my actions.
My actions are the ground on which I stand.

Freesangha feels much like home to me.  I appreciate the design, and very much appreciate the folks therein.

Well, according to the website explanation it was purely a corruption issue and there appears to be a dispute between the owner and the website platform folks.

Knowing that The Chinese Gov. has a formidible group of cyber warriors and has taken down numerous websites around the world, anything is possible.  They are said to target any group or nation which is not supportive of their current regime.  Google for example has been made to conform to  Chinese operating requirements which does not allow any anti regime discussion what-so-ever.

The free speech that we in The U.S. and other open structured/protected speech nations is just not allowed in China.
