The next Dalai Lama is not allowed to be born outside China

"The new law stipulates that Buddhist monks in Tibet must seek permission from Chinese communist regime for reincarnation..."

This is just insane! Could anyone anywhere possibly take such a law seriously?
My actions are my only true belongings.
I cannot escape the consequences of my actions.
My actions are the ground on which I stand.

Remember their tiff with the Catholic Church on valid ordinations?
So what's so surprising if they did it to the Tibetan Buddhists...they regard it as an 'internal affair'....

Really kelakar  :lmfao:

Personally, I am grateful for the law. I have been really concerned about rogue lamas and tulkas and rinpoches popping up all over the world. It is about time someone exercised some authority over this out-of-control situation. I applaud the Chinese for doing what the Tibet-in-exile government was unwilling to do.

I think you'll be reconsidering that statement in pretty short order.
Sergeant Schultz was onto something.

This reminds me of a Massachusetts law (since rescinded) that penalized the transmission of HIV through organ donation, post mortem.

I guess rounding up all those irresponsible deceased persons and throwing them in jail proved too difficult...

The Chinese have now come up with a brilliant solution: make sure they can only be reborn in China, and then throw them in jail.

I must said my views about Dalai lhama are split into two kinds

- one these dalai lama are human made they been from childhood into adult age are been introduction and train not only mental but physcial to meet the standrat by many master of this stream so they are human made for the tibet people ( they culture) to be able honoring by tibet civilzation and to unity them under this object(dalai lhama). And object crafted and made from human living thing.

-second the knowledges inside him who are thought and training  by many masters are to perserve the knowlodge to not dissepar or gone, are very preciouses.

I may be in charm in the past, but as i know this object actually made to charm human beeing i been question myself?, that the charm i seen in the past are right?. I could not judge this right or wrong to make human object like this person.

in the past i may said the panchen lhama are chinese man made and it's fell wrong.
so how about Dalai lhama it's self did they (tibet culture) made this dalai lhama too and that are right?

so maybe this time to let this tradition begone slowly and diseppear in the world naturaly that my thought. so there no other victim made by this culture.
