UK BUSINESS CONFIDENCE HITS 3-YEAR HIGH
« on: August 18, 2010, 05:28:59 am »
This business news blurb in this morning.

"  U.K. business confidence has risen to its highest level since 2007 due to increased optimism for export growth, a twice-yearly survey by Lloyds TSB Commercial showed Wednesday."

Anybody in Great Britain know why?  What has changed?

IMHO it's because:
  • The pound has dropped against the Euro - our main export market and,
  • we've had a new government for 100 days now and they haven't been caught making an economic error yet and,
  • 2007 levels of confidence are pretty easy to exceed  :D
