Hi there, Can somebody please recommend me a Monastery/ School in Nyingma tradtion in India? Because I am thinking of going to India and learn as here in Europe, there are very few possibilities.
It is my aim is to be a Nyingkapa/  white sangha after completion of studies.
Please help.

Thanks in advance.

Mahasiddha Bodhisattva

As you chose to send me a PM and block a reply I will post here:

Books are excellent.  I have no contempt for them at all.  Sorry if you assumed so.

According to Garab Dorje's First Statement  the first step in Dzogchen is Direct Introduction. Books cannot give you that, and I am concerned that, as you have not replied to anyone's questions, you are working from a book without a Dzogchen master to give you that Direct Introduction, which would be pointless - as you have received no 'pointing out'.

I have received it from Dozgchen Rinpoche and from Namkhai Norbu Rinpoche.

You cannot begin Dzogchen practice without Direct Introduction, sometimes called Direct Transmission.

I am of course talking of Dzogchen itself, not secondary practices a Dzogchen Guru may recommend.
A Dzogchen practice would be, for example, the Ati Guruyaga of the White 'A'.

I wasn't being rude, just honest.

Aro Gter is an organisation I am wary of in terms of lineage and practices, but of course that's up to you.

Google what I am stating. ;)

Im well aware of the controversy concerning Aro Gter in terms of lineage, which as you might imagine is meaningless to me - what lineage did the Buddha have? what lineage did Jesus have?  :) - but Im curious what you are referring to when you say you question their practices. Please elaborate.
