"LAPIS LAZULI:  Has been valued through the ages as a link to the all-knowing sources of knowledge and for invoking wisdom.  Traditionally the gemstone of royalty."

While this is true it used to be a sign of wealth, as was the resulting ultramarine blue pigment/paint, in pure land Buddhism it has more significant meaning. The sea to pureland is described as being of lapis lazuli with golden paths etched on its surface (according to visualization sutra). I carry a small Lapis Lazuli in my pocket and use occasionally in meditation to remind me of the journey to pureland/nirvana/kensho. (admittedly I only dabble in Pureland). Is this a practice that anyone else has heard of it, it seems like a natural connection to use this particular stone in this way.

Hi, eddychsu!

I like feng shui a lot and bought some dzi beads from reputed feng shui sellers.

They are not old, but they come with a certificate that they have been manufactured according to traditional methods.

On a feng shui forum, two experienced members were discussing that since you have so many fake dzi beads on the market, it was much better to buy diamonds, which is apparently the strongest and more energetically-charged crystal.

I love jade, but you have to make sure it comes from reliable sellers too.
