Yes, most of the dharma items I have are from Tibetan Spirit. It is a great company that really cares for its customers. Every purchase I have gotten has had a thank you letter along with it. Also they have a facebook page and every now and then they just give stuff away, for free! I recommend it 150%.

Depends what you are looking for Caz. If you have an item in mind, I could be much more precise.

For statues of high quality:

www.himalayanmart.com

NB:  I would recommend buying statues which are not filled, so you can have that done in accordance with your own tradition.

For malas:

Lotusmind on eBay (search for Lotusmind in search bar)

also '3jade1' seller for malas of stones such as amethyst etc.

And Daphne!! :)

For meditation supplies of all sorts within the UK.  Excellent service and value:

http://www.dharma-store.com/

Another reliable supplier:

http://www.windhorse.co.uk/

I also buy tsa tsa, ghau and pendants form a variety of sellers on eBay.  Some are genuinely old, others are fake-aged using acids.  The same item can be £200 when described as old and from the private collection of Lama blah blah, or £10 from a genuine seller like 'oldrahu' in Germany.

Hope that helps. :)

P.S. importing carries the risk that duty will be charged on entry to the UK. It has happened a few times to me, always with goods from the USA where the seller has accurately described the goods.

I use this one for books, Caz:  http://www.wisdompubs.org/

They charge more than Amazon, though, even though they're the publisher.  I don't know why that is.

And I use this one for "stuff":  http://www.dharmacrafts.com/

Tibetan Spirit has a good selection, very reasonable prices, and excellent service.

I'm not sure what is their policy for shipments to the UK, but they are very helpful and friendly by phone or email.

They are a great company.  Have brought many books from them with no hassles at all.

For Dharma items I also use these guys regularly.  http://www.potalagate.com/Qstore/Qstore.cgi they stock stuff which most other stores do not.  They are a little pricey on some items but cheap on others.  I have to admit that Tibetan Spirit are also an excellent company.  Have dealt with them many times with no problems ever!

I buy almost all my Dharma books from them - excellent, wide-ranging service!

I'm in the UK: using their cheapest postal option they normally deliver within 2-4 days. Earlier this week I got a delivery which had taken 10 days - I wondered why. On inspecting the books I realized they had sourced one of them from India for me - no extra charge.

And its worth paying a few pence more than Amazon if it keeps them in business and sending out their really valuable, Dharma-aware  newsletters - reading them is almost as good as browsing a real, physical book-store.

I've used a number of online sources.  Here are some I found very good for one reason or another

Tibetan Spirit (lots of stuff, good prices)
Namse Bangdzo Bookstore (Books, sadhanas)
Shakya Designs (Statues, beautiful malas)
Zambala (Tormas, statuary)
Naljor Designs (shrine cards, Enso clock)
Snow Lion Publications (books, etc)
Nongnit's Treasures (shrine tables)

I also buy practice and study materials from the Nalanda West bookstore, but what I get there is usually restricted material.

For those in the UK/Europe I can recommend
http://www.buddhistimages.co.uk/
for rupas, thangkas and other ritual objects.

He sources them from Nepal himself, so expect a few weeks delay at certain times of the year.
