Plant new trees? Burn the dead wood? Carry the pale?

Yes, but mindfully. :wink1:

If consciousness "wrong" arises then that's just an instance of lack of mindfulness
Nonsense. Go into sutras and see how many times word "wrong" appears. If there is no mindfulness, where does the "wrong" arise?

Never mind. Just let it be construct and relax.
It seems you are selling an advice you cannot use yourself. Never mind never minding, and relax.

Don't let, let, do, don't ... what cares?
Don't know. Why do you wan't to know something you don't know? Stay with that you know, you will not have to doubt anything.

Calm.

Just observe how same old habits creep in while thinking "effortless", thinking "effort is bad and effortless good", "construct is bad, unconditioned is good" ... just ideas, relax.
There is just no way out because there never has been a way in  :fu:
Habits let you live. Be happy when they creep in.
Thinking follows reality, and desire follow thinking. There is no way out of reality, but there is a way out of desire. And because desire follow thinking, it is done by thinking. Low methods use not thinking, but it is like chopping off your hand to get ride of the shadow. Not doing anything about it will not help either, because you already know too much. It could have worked 2000 or even 500 years ago, but not anymore.

Like driving, for a beginner you need effort. When you keep driving, no more efforts in driving.
