Instead of leaving (to my loss) I am ignoring rude,and/or arbitrarily dismissive members (to their loss)

Which is what, exactly?  Tautology and undefined proper nouns don't get us anywhere.

Yea, I think the question of "What" is referring to the empty background subject.

So if you ask "what?" and it is empty then then it's Nothing.

Myself, I prefer the definition at the end of the heart Sutra, gate gate pāragate pārasaṃgate bodhi svāhā. Go beyond, go further beyond, and so on. Go beyond everything, including nothing (or even 'Nothing'), and you'll get there. Of course, it's easier said than done...
“You do not need to leave your room. Remain sitting at your table and listen. Do not even listen, simply wait, be quiet, still and solitary. The world will freely offer itself to you to be unmasked, it has no choice, it will roll in ecstasy at your feet.” Franz Kafka

If you know what is meant by "empty"

My tea cup is "empty", but it is still a tea cup. :om:

May all beings have happiness and the causes of happiness.
May they all be free from suffering and the causes of suffering.
May they never be deprived of true happiness devoid of any suffering.
May they abide in great impartiality, free from attachment to loved ones and aversion to others.

It's a misinterpretation of letting go of everything. People forget that when everything is let go of, the nothing which remains needs to be let go of too. The big step isn't into nothing, it's to get to what is beyond nothing. Ironically, everything. Who would have expected it?
