Simply recite "Buddho", recollect the attitudes of the Buddha and the good you have archived by yourself, lingj, and focus on the in and out-breath so that you do not slipp away. It might be hard to do and to stay, but if doing so that will help and make you centred and at ease.
You have to do the work, otherwise no benefit for you, just for the prayer at least. Try it, no need to just believe.

Try it, lingj. Ground has neither faith in the Dhamma nor does he know by direct percepition the effects of the Buddhas Medicine. He is a materialist. For an effective healing treadment its also good to read this: The Healing Power of the Precepts since just "prayer" and meditation would not really heal even if it can help imidiatly1 to get ride of symptomes if trained, remembered and done. And stick with admirable friend only, the more faith in the Dhamma the better. Then you are best protected by your deeds.

That may be caused by the type of your illness or by the psychiatric's therapy.

Thank you Samana, I will use the technique, and I already do as well.

Ling, you may also like to try praying for help to Avalokitesvara ("Lord who contemplates") or Lokesvara (Guan Yin or Kuan Yin if you prefer) or Amitabha ("wish you infinitude of life-span and brightness" "Amitāyus—the Buddha of Infinite Life—and Amitābha—the Buddha of Infinite Light—are essentially identical") or Vairocana ("The Illuminator") or Cundi ("Extremely Pure").

These are words of power that have been used by people considered Buddhists for some 2500 years or so. Some people take these things as being "unreal and pointless". The idea is that they are not "unreal and pointless" though, but actually real, and are all just words that send out the call for help and assistance. You can directly pray or ask the pure Dharma-kaya, the True Buddha (Awake), for help and assistance and cure regarding the voices in your head, and to clear them for you.

The least you can do is try, if it doesn't work, you can keep trying as well.

You may also find certain healing mantras online which you can repeat and focus on.

In cases of obsessive and invasive thoughts, much of the time resistance can create more anxiety, so instead you can understand that these thoughts and voices may come and stay as long as they may, just like clouds in the sky, but you shouldn't act on them or be distressed by them, they are just like an other experience, cars passing on a street or whatever else.

All prayers and calls for help are directed to the same power, The Contemplator, who is the Infinite Illuminator, the Imageless and Formless Purity that is the generator of all the signs and symbols which are expressed everywhere.

It may be a bit of a process working on finding ways to be better functional if possible. If you find that there is no help in this matter, the best strategy is not to harm yourself in any way then with things that don't seem to be working, but in what areas of life you can better control, to do the best you are able to do in living well.
