Need divider between messages

Somebody worked hard on a re-design. It looks nice.

When reading a series of messages, i.e., messages in a thread, one after another, on the same page, there are no clear dividers between messages. I don't know if this is deliberate or an oversight. I think dividers would improve readability.

Hello Timbo, I believe that the dividers are already in place, that long black line above and below your post are dividers. Hope this helps.

Would give better frame of reference if the THEME being used was listed. Some have things others do not ...

I know what you mean. Still, the messages seem to run together. I can live with it. Let's see how well the layout works for others.

I agree. The postings seem to run together. A thick line or border between posters would be visually helpful.

That would be helpful.  Also maybe the thread title at the top of each post could be a bit smaller?

Something happened to the left margin. Some user photos don't fit in the left margin, now have scrollbars underneath. I'm on Firefox 3.6.2 and a 14 inch MacBook.

J. McKenna is using a smaller font for his signature.  If you scroll up you'll see that it's much easier on the eyes because you can tell what's a post and what's a signature, unlike the full-size signatures.  And it almost serves as a divider that way. 

Could we possibly set signatures to be a different size than posts?

Signatures are clearly separate from posts, in the Theme I'm using and in the newest Theme it is plain where the post ends ..... at least as I see them.
 
I believe that the Themes are completely adjustable, if one wishes to spend the time with them.  Also, some Themes don't make certain features as east to access. For example, the "Recent Topics" button & link aren't always available in some Themes .......
 
 
PS: What some may seem as a lack of separation between posts may be due to the missing alternative shading in the newest Theme.
