Suggestion: How about putting KIVA (KIVA.org) up on the portal in place of the marketing survey that has been there for a while?
Wonky Badger introduced us to KIVA in the *Donations* section, but the $25 free donations offer has now expired and no one can say he's trying to pump up his chances to win a free T-shirt now.

Here's the main URL --

http://www.kiva.org/team/buddhistsI have to say I really like KIVA, as a concept and as a success story. It's not strictly speaking a charity, since the "donations" one gives are really loans offered to small entrepreneurs (farmers, street vendors, and so on) who are struggling to improve their circumstances. The money is repaid with very low default and delinquency rates-- 98.7% repay their loans in a timely fasion -- so the money can then be reloaned to other small borrowers.
