I gotta be more careful about what I post. Sometimes I post, read what I've said, and can't go back to edit it!

So my apologies for being more pig-headed than usual. It's because I can't always edit!
Warning: I'm enough of a fundamentalist Tibet style Buddhist to believe that for the last 1,000 years Tibet has produced a handful of enlightened masters in every generation. I do not ask that YOU believe it, but it will greatly simplify conversations if you understand that about me. Thanks.

That's a hopeless, helpless feeling, isn't?  Please just PM one of the moderators and I am sure someone will alter the wording per your request.

There's a grace period of a minute or two during which you may edit your post and after that it is fixed as is.  You can imagine why this is a good idea in most situations.

Seriously, I haven't had this happen once.  Visits, replies, PM's, all of them work fine on my end.

OSX running Firefox.

Hope we can get this sorted out.

OS 10.6.7 Safari and I'm screwed regularly. (Although you wouldn't know it by how often I post. I'm not working currently.)

Isn't Firefox the same as Safari? I'm dumb about computers.

.......

Isn't Firefox the same as Safari? I'm dumb about computers.

Firefox is a Mozilla browser that is free and open sourced.  It has roots in the Netscape browser.  It is more stable and secure than MS Internet Explore if on a Winblows platform.  On Mac there are some websites so poorly designed that they only work fully with IE or FF.  I have both on all my Macs and at one time FF was the default.  That changed as they went one way and Safari improved.  I still use FF for maybe three sites and that is it.

For foreign sites that don't have an English version I use Google's Chrome because it has built-in translation of pages. I've used Opera, Camino, but have never considered putting IE on a Mac.  Safari 5 currently has 0 vulnerabilities (as does FF & Chrome).
...i found there was no "i" anywhere.....

Are you running into issues, J?

Firefox 4.0.1 on Windows here and no problems at all.

Stopped using IE years ago.  I updated it a few months ago and it corrupted itself. latest update works but I have zero faith in it.

Chrome and Safari confuse me with their simplicity - bit like Zen.  LOL :)

No longer it would seem sir.  Last failure on this forum was April 23. (Holding breath while clicking "post" button...)

Can't speak for Chrome, but used Safari on a Bill-Gates-Insult OS and it was a hog, pig and wallowing buffalo all at the same time. The improvement using it on a Mac is breathtaking!!

Sounds good, J.  Glad you aren't having issues with it any longer.

I use Chrome on my Windows PC because it does seem to be the least bogged down browser for that platform.  On my Mac's I use Firefox or Safari.
