Chat troubles
« on: January 14, 2010, 06:25:48 pm »
I'm receiving an error message at the chat log-in that reads "You can't access the chat."

Thoughts?  Thanks!

Not sure... you could try flushing all your temp file and then restarting your computer.

Went on Chat this morning twice, once with Global Chrome, and once with Internet Explorer.  Had no problems in either occasion.  Whatever of Chat Master did seems to have worked.  Caviat is that I was the only one on each time.
What Makes an Elder? :
A head of gray hairs doesn't mean one's an elder. Advanced in years, one's called an old fool.
But one in whom there is truth, restraint, rectitude, gentleness,self-control, he's called an elder, his impurities disgorged, enlightened.
-Dhammpada, 19, translated by Thanissaro Bhikkhu.

This eBook Modern Buddhism – The Path of Compassion and Wisdom, in three volumes, is being distributed freely at the request of the author Geshe Kelsang Gyatso. The author says: "Through reading and practicing the instructions given in this book, people can solve their daily problems and maintain a happy mind all the time." So that these benefits can pervade the whole world, Geshe Kelsang wishes to give this eBook freely to everyone.

We would like to request you to please respect this precious Dharma book, which functions to free living beings from suffering permanently. If you continually read and practice the advice in this book, eventually your problems caused by anger, attachment and ignorance will cease.

Yes. Everyone hid!  LOL :)

There is a drop down menu at the top of Chat. An informal gathering of Mods was happening in the Global Mods section of Chat.  So you would see us all as present in chat, but wouldn't see which forum we were on.

After a great deal of deliberation by Mods and Admins it was determined that only Earl grey was compatible with Rich tea biscuits, but that Chocolate Digestives needed Camp coffee. ;)
