Title: A yidam block other yidams
Post by: ratnashugden on August 01, 2017, 08:16:50 pm
Can the yidam of the first tantric initiation stop the yidam of the second tantric initiation?

Believe me my friend, this is all ridiculous nonsense. Yidams and initiations and energy and all that stuff. Nothing will ever help you. The Buddha himself was strictly against all superstitions. Rather, follow the noble 8 fold path.

If a practice causes issues that haven't been there before then there is something wrong with the practice or the instructor of the practice or the practitioner isn't suitable for the practice.
If practice complicates things then what's the purpose of it?

Also tantric practices are to be kept within the sphere of teacher and student exlusively, so what's the purpose of posting such questions in a public forum?

I'm sorry for these responses. The answer is no. Anything of merit only further accelerates anything else of merit. They do not block but enhance and further.
