Buddha said in a Tantra...
« on: August 16, 2015, 06:24:31 pm »
 :r4wheel:Khenpo Tamgrin Rinpoche:

Buddha said in a Tantra:“a thousand times difference between pure and non-pure, one hundred thousand times difference betweensamadhi and without samadhi.” It means there are thousand times difference on the effects of recitingmantra between the state with clean precepts or not.Samadhi is a state of meditation, reciting mantra in meditation compare to without meditation, there are one hundred thousand times difference. Therefore we should learn dharma and practice exactly as per the doctrines and requirement, and reciting mantra extremely inthe same way.

If the past 30 years have taught me anything it's that there's only one absolute when it comes to dharma practice, namely that there can be no practice of the dharma without the practice of virtue.
